Visual interfaces that are thin like paper? Sounds like something from Harry Potter, does not it? But: Inuru brought magic into reality!
With their tiny OLEDs, product labels become luminous. But that is not all: The additional integrated NFC technology makes the products interactive. Now, Champagne CATTIER started this experiment and aims to stand out from competing products by means of Innovation Made @ HU. In the supermarket shelf it will certainly be a real eye catcher and this is also truly a success for Inuru, as it is their first series product with OLEDs!
The light effect that is triggered by touch increases visibility and creates a glamorous atmosphere when opening and pouring the Champagne.
To achieve a particularly high quality, Inuru cooperates with Packhelp which is one of the most innovative startups in the field of digital packaging. Packhelp is even planning to add illuminated product solutions to its range in the near future.
However, the technology is not only useful for marketing purposes or consumer goods – there are also use cases in the medical sector, e.g. pharmaceutical manufacturers can let illuminate their labels as soon as a medication is expired and also in the realm of clothing, the innovative interfaces can be used.
Humboldt-Innovation had supported the company in applying for «Transfer BONUS». That is why we are extremely excited which application forms of the paper-thin OLEDs we will see in the future – the possibilities seem endless.
