New GovLab on the Influence of Homophobia on Electoral Behavior

Last week, we published a HI:LIGHT on our blog about the new study “The Electoral Effects of State-Sponsored Anti-LGBTQ Measures” (2025) by Violeta Ines Haas, Konstantin Bogatyrev, Tarik Abou-Chadi, Heike Klüver, and Lukas Stoetzer from the Humboldt Governance Lab. The study focuses on how state anti-LGBTQ measures affect electoral behavior. The researchers came across disturbing results. Ongoing Application Phase for ProValid

Until February 15, 2026, researchers can apply with their innovations that they want to bring to market readiness for the ProValid funding instrument.
