We have published a new HI:LIGHT on the Humboldt Governance Lab on our blog, in which we report on the GovLab’s new project. This project includes a study by Prof. Dr. Heike Klüver and Prof. Dr. Johannes Gieseke, both from HU, and Prof. Dr. Lukas Stötzer from the University of Witten/Herdecke.

Week 45: HU commemorates the Reich Pogrom Night

On the occasion of the anniversary of the Reichspogromnacht on November 9, 1938, the Executive Board of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin gathered in front of the university’s main building to clean the 20 Stolpersteine (stumbling stones) located there and to commemorate the Jewish victims of National Socialism.

The Berlin University Alliance celebrated its sixth birthday on 1 November 2025. To mark the occasion, it published a video series on social media entitled ‘Faces of the Berlin University Alliance’, in which key figures from the alliance and its partners at the FU, HU, TU and Charité speak highly of the BUA.
